I have said it before, I do like short short fiction. Today, I spent my writing time composing ultra short stories, the size of a text message.
The character limit forces me to be as economical with the language as possible. There's no room for fillers or imprecise words. It's training for writing longer fiction, too. The more micro-fiction I write, the better I become at choosing the right words. Byebye word waste and imprecision.
